Image credits and policy
Plant and ingredient pages use real photos when the project already has them. Generated images are used for broader editorial articles and as fallback when no relevant real photo is available.
Current rule
Plant pages use real botanical photos and ingredient pages use real food or ingredient photos when available. Sources such as Wikimedia, Wikipedia or iNaturalist are kept with attribution when those files are used.
Generated images may illustrate prevention, stable context or generic articles, but they must not replace a real plant or ingredient photo when one exists.
